It is December again. WordPress has turned on the lovely blog snow. Even in this warmest of years, Michigan temperatures are falling, we’ve seen some snowflakes, and my end-of-semester crunch is beginning. And I realized with amazement that next month this little blog will be five years old.
This seemed a good time to reprise some of my December blogs from years past, while December is new and you might be planning holiday activities. I have lots of versions of The Night Before Christmas for your enjoyment, and perhaps the teaching of parodies. I have beautiful nativity art from around the world, for those who teach art or for whom Christmas is a sacred time, silliness around The 12 Days of Christmas and more. Enjoy the memories—and if I can get my head out from under the papers, soon I’ll create some new ones!

And for those who, like me, view the end of the year from under a mound of papers to grade, a very silly tribute to Robert Frost.
